The Six Noble Actions of Compassion
Live Online Teachings with Khentrul Lodro Thaye Rinpoche
April 4th and 5th, 2020
10-12 and 1.30-3.30 Hawaii Standard Time
After careful consideration and with sensitivity to all that is going on in the world, we have decided to not have anyone travel and gather in person for teachings this spring.
Now Khentrul Rinpoche will be presenting The Six Noble Actions of Compassion streaming live online. This decision is for the protection of each and every one of us and our many connections, near and far, from the uncertainties and risks of the global coronavirus epidemic.
As Rinpoche wants to continue to offer dharma teachings, we hope that you can participate from your homes! All you need is a device with internet service. We ask that everyone participating register and then we will email all registrants on April 1st with details about how to join the teachings.
The Six Noble Actions of Compassion
If we were to reverse our negative thoughts and actions and instead, cultivate positive thoughts and actions, we would be freed from both immediate and long-term suffering. We would experience physical and mental ease. This can be proven through logical reasoning because it is the way things operate by nature. That’s why it is an important point to study and practice.
This text contains all of the methods for cultivating positive intentions and actions in our daily lives. It illustrates how by using examples and the application of “the six flavors.” These trainings are easy to apply and are profoundly beneficial.

The Heart Sutra
As taught by Khentrul Lodro Thaye Rinpoche
The Heart Sutra is the quintessence of Shakyamuni Buddha's teachings on the way things are, clearly elucidating how the nature of all phenomena is emptiness. This is an extremely profound text because it contains all the key points of explanation found in the sutras regarding the true nature of phenomena. "Receiving this teaching is a truly rare and precious opportunity" as the Buddha himself stated. "The recipient of teachings on the Heart Sutra obtains the benefits and qualities of having received the teachings on emptiness" This is a spiritual journey of heart-mind that examines phenomenal perceptions of the outer world and inner aspects of our very being.

Transforming Adversity & Vipashyana Meditation with Khentrul Rinpoche
on Kaua'i July 7 - 8, 2018
Khentrul Rinpoche will reveal how we can enjoy much greater well-being in our lives by sharing some remarkable and little known tools for transforming adversity. The vast majority of us have never considered this method for transforming our experience. It is an unparalleled approach which directly pertains to the modern challenges we face.
This teaching is based upon a pith instruction written by the 3rd Dodrubchen Rinpoche, Jigme Tenpe Nyima (1865-1926), one of the most outstanding Tibetan saints of his time, and teacher to many great masters.
These gems of advice are priceless and inexhaustible treasures that will serve as a means for overcoming adversity and for creating more happiness in our lives and in the world. We invite everyone to attend. It is not necessary to have attended part I or II as Rinpoche will review the key points covered then.
\Vipashyana: The Search for Ultimate Truth and the Cultivation of Wisdom
Ultimate and lasting peace and happiness cannot be reached by relying on the outer world alone. It is found within ourselves when love and compassion is used as the basis for cultivating wisdom. Vipashyana, translated as profound insight meditation, is the exploration into the true nature of all things. This wisdom view is necessary for finding complete freedom from disturbing emotions and all suffering. Upon completion of the mind training text for Transforming Happiness and Suffering, Rinpoche will proceed to teach on vipashyana view and meditation.
